Apple Names Top 25 Malware-Infected Apps, Including 'Angry Birds 2' and WeChat

Apple has published a list of the top 25 iOS apps that were recently infected with malware known as XcodeGhost. While it's now believed that more than 4,000 apps were affected, Apple says "the number of impacted users drops significantly" beyond these 25 apps.

Apple has continually stressed that it does not have any evidence to suggest that any user information was compromised as a result of the incident. The company has also asked developers to ensure that they only use the Xcode software, which is used to develop apps, that's downloaded directly from Apple.
