Actually, really quite well for just a month.The company today told USA Today that it has already garnered 11 million trial members, of which 2 million have opted into the $14.99 a month family plan.This is just in the first month of its release. For comparison, Spotify has about 60 million users, of which 15 million have paid subscriptions. Take note though: Spotify has been cultivating this subscriber base since 2009, and it's been in the US for four years. It's also wrestling with slow growth, and has yet to turn a profit.Apple a built-in audience: the company has sold more than 1 billion iOS devices, and the service launched with a three-month free trial.Now, if these 11 million trial members actually opt into paying for the service, the company will really have something to boast about.
