If you could be anything, what would you be?

Motherboard, deviantART, and Microsoft Surface are challenging artists across the country to use any style or medium to depict their transformation into a different person or thing. Participants will have the chance to be flown, all expenses paid, to Brooklyn, Honolulu, or Los Angeles to collaborate with either Dash Shaw, Jasper Wong, or Jordan Crane in their respective studios!

The rules are pretty simple: Download the three-panel template for the contest, and use it show us a transformation of who you are now into what you could be. We don't know the future, so you could be anything, right?

If you haven't entered yet, now's the time to do it—the first phase of the contest ends tomorrow night.

The three grand prize winners who create the coolest three-stage progression will have their work featured here on Motherboard—we're stoked to show the winners off—as well as on deviantART, and will also score $1000, a new Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and the aforementioned trip.

For full details and rules, head on over to deviantART's lovely contest page.
