Yucca Mountain Waste Site

Yucca Mountain is the proposed site for the long-term storage of nuclear waste .

From the column 'Photos From Beyond'

Yucca Mountain is the proposed site for the long-term storage of nuclear waste which has resulted in some of the most fascinating debates in modern semiotics from the Human Interference Task Force. How will we design warning signs that will last 10,000 years into the future and serve as readable to any future iterations of living humans speaking a language that can't be imagined today? How will the warning signs for the waste site signify extraordinary mortal danger without also enticing curious humans to explore the site to find out what is there? The site itself is a massively long tunnel and hole inside the mountain.
