This Drone Video of Synchronized Holiday Lights Is the Most American Thing Ever

Italian twinkle lights? Check. Trans-Siberian Orchestra? Check. Drone? Check.

In a move sure to make the guys in OK Go rage-shart, residents in what appears to be a subdivision in the American Southwest (palm trees, mountains, no snow) synced up a neighborhood-spanning light show to TSO ripper "Wizards of Winter" and filmed the whole thing with a drone.

It's as if an entire subdivision of Clark W. Griswolds set aside their egos for the good of Good Ol' Fashioned Family Christmas' everywhere. It's over-the-top, and ultimately pretty pointless. Basically, you're looking at the Most American Thing this side of Black Friday, perhaps ever.

For my part, "I'm gonna park the cars and get the luggage, and well, I'll be outside for the season."
