MOS Talks to Us About Experimenting with Architecture

Michael Meredith chooses chaos over order.

Upcoming creators MOS designed an impressive architectural installation for the 1st floor of the Creators Project NYC launch event: a set of blocks that looks like it’s in the midst of collapse, bathed in the light of projectors. We spoke to Michael Meredith, who’s on a break from teaching architecture at Harvard’s GSD for a year, (his partner and wife Hilary Sample teaches at Yale), to hear how the piece was created, how technology informs their practice, and what architecture might learn from a Frankenstein event like this.

We’re going to be posting loads of photos as well as exclusive video interviews with artists and performers from the event all week, so stay tuned. MNDR is up next.
