I’ve been pretty adamant not to care about The Strokes since Angles was released and sounded like the product of five grown adults who didn't want to be in a room together. They sounded bored and used-up. However, the once and future hope of Williamsburg's new single “One Way Trigger” could not be further in the opposite direction.It sounds like Tommy Vercetti cruising down the strip on a PCJ 600. It sounds like flamingos and it reeks of those cocktails that have little umbrella sticks stuck in them. This could be the most flamboyant thing that The Strokes have ever done and it’s great.
