Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years experience on a website's editorial staff and will be very familiar with Motherboard and its tone. This person should be eager to do a lot of writing and editing staff writers and freelancers. The ideal candidate has an understanding of what makes a Motherboard story, and also will bring a fresh, diverse perspective to help us in our mission of explaining the futures around us.A general knowledge of the wide range of topics Motherboard covers is a must, as is an allergy to rehashing stories that have already been told elsewhere. Most importantly, we're looking for an energetic, hardworking journalist who is committed to doing the forward-thinking reporting Motherboard is known for without being self-important about it.This position is based in Brooklyn.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES● Writing and reporting for Motherboard
