Ron Hunter Breaks Down in Post-Game Press Conference, is the Best

Ron Hunter was upbeat following his second-round loss to Xavier, but got emotional when talking about his players, specifically his son.

Ron Hunter's Georgia State Panthers lost to Xavier 75-67 and the magical run will have to be just one game long. Which is OK, it was damn good game. He was the coach in an NCAA Tournament game and had a front row seat as his son R.J. hit a game-winning shot before the buzzer. As far as moments go, that's not the least bit shabby.

Hunter began his post-game remarks very upbeat, saying he had nothing to be upset about and that it was the best week of his life, a great week for the school, and the program. He's been a refreshing change from the robot coaches we're more familiar with and this was just another example. He wanted his players to remember all of it, but as a coach and a father, he was overcome with emotion when he tried to speak about his son. Fathers and sons, man. TNT eventually cut away as reporters tried to ask him questions through the tears, but we'll see him again come One Shining Moment.
