Researchers have invented new electronic sensors to replace bulky, wired electrodes. They flattened all the metal parts and attached them to a skin-like membrane, rendering the device nearly invisible when worn, as you can see in this video from the journal Science. The sensors can read the electric signals of the heart, brain and muscle and should make at-home monitoring more comfortable.
