Label boss A.G. Cook produced the collaborative track, which comes with remixes by Clark and more.

The PC Music crew has official dug itself into the depths of the pop music machine. The announcement of their new single with Chinese pop star Li Yuchun—AKA Chris Lee—follows news of their major label deal with Columbia Records. Since then they've also dropped Danny Harle's iconic Broken Flowers EP as well as Product, the debut LP from label star SOPHIE. Label boss A.G. Cook produced the track "Only You" with Lee, which comes as part of a "double-sided" single remixed by experimental techno standout Clark and more TBA.

Chris Lee achieved superstar status across China in 2005, after winning the country's national singing contest Super Girl, which is basically the equivalent of American Idol. Since then she's dropped seven number-one albums in the country and played starring roles in a number of blockbuster films. PC Music's creative director Finn Mactaggart explained the process behind the single in a press release:

"When A. G. Cook and I came up with the idea for the record we approached it with an awareness of Chris as a popstar who is already reflecting upon an impressive ten year career. We quickly figured that we wanted to play with the idea of duality on a double-sided single. When we visited Chris in Beijing to work on the songs, she fell in love with our ideas, and wrote incredibly powerful lyrics, particularly for 'Only You' which translates roughly as 'I Miss You, Bastard."
