Demonstrations kick off across São Paulo following the detention and questioning of former Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, better known as "Lula". A sweeping federal investigation of corruption and money laundering at state oil company Petrobras has implicated a number of influential political and business figures.
