In News We All Saw Coming, Ja Rule Is Getting the Pants Sued Off of Him After Fyre Festival

A lawsuit compares the failed luxury fest to 'The Hunger Games' and 'Lord of the Flies'.

Fyre Festival is the great story of our time, a dystopian revenge fable that condemns the follies of late capitalism while also giving the already relevant Ja Rule a few more decades of visibility. Unfortunately, Ja may now be paying for this renewed attention with some of that "Between Me & You" royalty money, despite his own public apology and sending refund forms to all the guests.

As Variety reports, celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos (who's represented everyone from Kesha to Michael Jackson) has filed a lawsuit against Ja and co-organiser Billy McFarland on behalf of plaintiff Daniel Jung. The damages? US$100 million. Minimum. Yeesh.
