About Motherboard

Motherboard is your friendly travel guide to future culture, made up of news, finds, and conversations about the edgier side of human progress, with an emphasis on the human. (But we'd like to make it clear that we have nothing against the robots.) Launched as an Internet video channel on VICE's VBS.tv in 2009, Motherboard has evolved into an online magazine made up of text and video, exploring our uncanny futures and surprising histories to get a better sense of our bizarre present.
