You Can Now Buy a $2,500 Gold-Plated 'Cecil the Lion' Smartphone

Of course.

When the world loses a lion, it's obvious what you, little online gold goods manufacturer, need to do: profit. Make an emetic, gold-plated HTC phone with the name and image of the lion engraved on the side and sell it for $2,500.

This would completely push me over the edge after the endless human centipede of compassion-rage that has followed the killing of Cecil if it wasn't for the fact this site is claiming it will donate 10 percent of all proceeds to the Friends of Hwange conservation charity. Even still, it's probably better if you just donate to a conservation charity directly and not buy this ridiculous phone. All we need now are some ill-advised decapitated Cecil Halloween costumes and we'll have completed the internet circle of despair.
