I have truly led a cursed life. We had no trees in our yard, which meant that, come fall, there was no leaf diving, leaf tumbling, or leaves-covering-giant-holes pranks to speak of. Perhaps that's why, when given the opportunity to jump into giant piles of things, I look like a distressed otter.
So it goes without saying that we never got to light a whole bunch of leaves on fire, either, which these bright folks recently did. I feel obliged to tell you that burning leaves is kinda bad for the environment and is illegal in many states. But if you've got some yard work to do this weekend, well, blowing up some leaves is probably more fun than raking them.
