Watch SpaceX Test its Astronaut Ejection System

It's a huge step toward ultimately flying astronauts to the ISS.

Wednesday Morning, SpaceX successfully performed an abort test on its Dragon manned spacecraft—that is, if something were to go wrong when it eventually flies NASA astronauts to space, it'd be able to safely move them away from the rocket.

It's a cool bit of technology that's worth watching, and it's an important step toward NASA ultimately letting the company ferry its astronauts to the International Space Station. From the video, it looks like the crash test dummy situated inside the capsule would have been just fine. Our Emiko Jozuka gave a full rundown of what the test means earlier today, so check out that post for a full rundown.
