A Chicago man has built the world's largest arcade machine, gaining entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Jason Camberis says he was tired of seeing "all bad news" on the television, and wanted to bring some joy into the world. So he built a massive arcade machine, the proportions of which are meant to make you feel like a little kid again, barely able to reach the controls.

The machine is about 14.5 feet tall and over 6 feet across. Camberis even has a giant novelty quarter to feed into the machine, though you don't actually have to pay to play. More than 250 classic games are available on this behemoth, including the classics like Pac-Man, Rampage, and Robotron.

The previous record-holder was a cabinet built by the G4 program Attack of the Show! in 2007. Camberis' cabinet tops that by a full foot.

"Everything is getting smaller, and smaller, and smaller," Camberis says. "I'm bringing big back."
