The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus Appear to Be Unbendable

The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are out today, as well as all the attendant hysteria.

When Apple introduced the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus last year, it took almost no time before users uncovered a major flaw: the phone got bent out of shape way too easily. Christened "Bendgate," the flap was one of Apple's worse PR nightmares in recent memory.

Apple does not like being made a fool, so it came back this year with a slightly thicker phone, a much tougher screen, and a shell made of stronger, anodized aluminum.

Two New Zealanders from the YouTube channel FoneFox put this new configuration to the test, trying to bend the new iPhone 6S Plus to the best of their ability.

Despite two healthy dudes really putting their back into it, the iPhone 6S Plus does not succumb to pressure. The most they accomplished was some slight warping after sustained efforts, so it seems Apple learned a lot from last year's debacle.

Watch to see someone trying to break an extremely expensive phone, or just to hear a Kiwi say "aluminum."
