Get a Case for Your Samsung Galaxy S7

Critics have showered the Galaxy S7 with so much praise it’s important to remember that it’s not quite perfect.

Has a non-Apple smartphone ever been as universally well-received as the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge?

The Wall Street Journal called it "head of the smartphone class." The Verge said it has a "level of polish unmatched in the rest of the Android world." And CNET simply described it as "the phone to beat."

I'd largely agree, based on my time with the Galaxy S7 edge over the past few days. The camera's performance in low light needs to be seen to be believed, apps and games like Instapaper and Clash Royale feel like they were designed for the 5.5-inch display, and Samsung even brought back the SD card slot that last made an appearance with 2014's Galaxy S5.

The biggest problem with the smartphone? The shiny, high-end finish may look great in photos, but it's very slippery in the hand. In fact—confession time: We dropped ours, as explained in the above video starring our own Evan Rodgers. And yes, this was filmed with the S7 and S7 edge.
