Russian Divers Play Hockey Upside Down on the Underside of a Frozen Lake

Who thought this was a good idea?

Between the skating and the tiny puck, hockey is challenging enough. We don't need to make any more complicated, but that's exactly what these crazy divers in Siberia did by staging a game underwater.

The teams were divided into three people each with the "nets" (or, in this case, triangular gates) separated roughly 50 feet away from each other. The divers glided upside down under the ice-covered lake until the game was finished when a goal was finally scored.

"At first you are disoriented, but then you quickly get used to that," a diver-turned-player told Russia Today.

Sure, probably because you can't feel anything.
