Following the success of Motherboard's Sex Ed Week earlier this month, we're launching our next themed week in March: The Building Blocks of Everything.The week starting March 9, we'll be talking about all kinds of stuff with special coverage focusing on materials.Materials make up everything around us, from the atomic level to the architectural scale, and we're interested in all of them. Stories will cover materials science, but also other research projects, environmental issues, and artistic or cultural perspectives, plus anything between.We're interested in everything from pioneering scientists discovering brand new materials in the lab, to backyard hackers finding new ways to use the existing building blocks around us. We want to know more about the materials we take for granted every day, as well as the more elusive elements out there.If you have an idea for something we should be covering, or are a writer and want to pitch a story, please contact editor@motherboard.tv.
