In This Japanese Game, Defeating Enemies Gives You Bigger Boobs

Is it satire? Seriously, we can’t tell.

Omega Labyrinth is a new game from D3 Publisher that gives new meaning to that old chant, "I must, I must, I must increase my bust."

The game features students from an all-female school who are competing to win "The Cup of Beauty," which grants the student one wish. Conveniently, all the girls want the same thing—bigger boobs.

The gameplay is at first blush a pretty basic RPG where you wander around a randomly-generated dungeon fighting enemies. But every time your avatar defeats an enemy, its breasts get bigger via the accretion of "Womanly Power" points. Yes, that's right: in Omega Labyrinth, "womanly power" means bigger tits. The game's first-print bonus items include an "Electric Massager Lance," which is basically a Hitachi Magic Wand that you use as a weapon. There's also a shield that looks like a butt.

As Kotaku points out, this sort of thing is not out of character for D3 Publisher, which has also developed a game where you take upskirt shots of girls. (The official title for that game is, wonderfully, "Summer-Colored High School: Adolescent Record – A Summer At School On An Island Where I Contemplate How The First Day After I Transferred, I Ran Into A Childhood Friend And Was Forced To Join The Journalism Club Where While My Days As A Paparazzi Kid With Great Scoops Made Me Rather Popular Among The Girls, But Strangely My Camera Is Full Of Panty Shots, And Where My Candid Romance Is Going.")

Omega Labyrinth will be released in Japan in November on the PS Vita system. How tongue-in-cheek is it? That's up to you to decide.
