On Thursday, Photoshop developer and all-around software giant Adobe released its new app Post, which makes simple graphic design easy and accessible to just about anyone.

Post enables the user to turn images into something polished-looking and professional, by adding attractive text and layout options. The app seems particularly useful for those who use social networks to cultivate a personal brand, or for people who manage others' social media accounts for a living.

Once you download the app, you can upload a picture of your own or play around with Post's bank of free images. I used some random pictures saved on my phone to make faux clickbait-type graphics.

As you can see, Post provides a ton of options for how you want your text to look—with font, sizing, color, opacity, and alignment options. You can also put your text inside various design elements like attractive bordered circles or squares.

The effect tends to be very mommy-blog and Pinterest-like, but you can use it for whatever cutesy inspirational-quote Instagram posts or Twitter mischief-making that you want. There are even some preset designs you can choose from if you're not creative enough to assemble your own. The only downside is the automatic hashtagged watermark that shows up in your image, but if you save to your camera roll you can crop it out later.

Post is free, and for now at least, it's only available in the App Store. I kind of love it.
