First Look at 'Wattam,' the New Video Game from the Creator of 'Katamari Damacy’

It’s weird! It’s colorful!

Keita Takahashi, the creator behind the wonderfully weird world of Katamari Damacy, is back with a new video game called Wattam.

The new PlayStation 4 game released a two-minute preview and it's pretty bizarre. Players start off as a normal object (for example, a tree) with an expressive personality. Once ten objects are linked, they explode colorfully into the sky into "the most kawaii way possible," noted a YouTube commenter.

Wattam has been in development for more than two years, so fans are excited. They'll be treated to a preview at next month's E3. It's scheduled to be released in early 2016.
