"Gaze" is the work of Iranian musician and new media artist Ārash Āzādi. It's a piece better experienced than explained, but the basic idea is that the viewer/user/subject hands over control of their microphone and camera to a Chrome plug-in, which then morphs and twists said user and their immediate surroundings into an AV digital acid trip. The resulting "drone-scapes" are very cool, if perhaps a bit nauseating after a while. From Āzādi's website (via Create Digital Music): "The question remains not of what Gaze can create for you, but where you will take it and what fresh, altered perceptions it will provide for you in those spaces, twisting your sense of local reality and giving you your own personal and living drone record to complement your life as it does so."Gaze deeply.
