Would you risk permanent paralysis to run faster? Would you cut out your lungs to breathe underwater? Would you surgically swap out your eyes to see five times farther?These are just some of the questions publisher Activision is asking players as part of a promotion for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The latest in game first-person shooter series takes place in a dystopian 2065, in a world consumed by robotic warfare and cyborg soldiers.Beyond your opinion on the robot legs, arms, lungs, and eyes your character will have in the game, Black Ops III also has some questions straight out of an Ethics 101 class. Would you never see your family again to save one person? How about 10,000 people? Would you sacrifice one life to protect your country?Eighty percent of people responded "yes" to that last one, by the way, and if you complete the quiz you'll get the rest of the data on how people responded, including a graph that displays your morals based on how much you value power, your loved ones, yourself, and saving humanity.The questionnaire also shows that people are overwhelmingly cool with replacing any body part with a robotic one to become stronger. We all want to be cyborgs.I played Call of Duty: Black Ops III's multiplayer mode earlier this year. It's alright. It's more Call of Duty. So far, the marketing behind it is more interesting than the actual game, as we saw with its wonderfully dystopian trailer.
