​The Weeknd, Jack Ü, The Chemical Brothers, Ratatat to Headline HARD Summer

Dillon Francis, Tchami, RL Grime, Boys Noize, and more spoons than can fit in your cutlery drawer.

HARD Summer has announced the lineup for its return to The Fairplex in Pomona on August 1 and 2 and it features a scattershot melange that focuses on live acts, hip-hop, EDM, and underground acts that span from URL R&B to to UK house to techno.

Fresh from stealing the show while having his show stolen by Kanye West at Coachella, The Weeknd will headline Saturday with a support cast that includes UK rave eternals The Chemical Brothers, Dillon Francis, ODESZA, Tchami and live iterations of both Porter Robinson and Gorgon City.

In the trailer for the festival, Dillon Francis leaves a suburban garage band named Chromeo to, uh, put spoons over his eyes and do the worm:

On Sunday, Jack Ü take top billing as they did last year. The recently revived Ratatat, Die Antwoord, RL Grime, Boys Noize, Maya Jane Coles,and Chromeo also appear on the upper card.

Other notables throughout the weekend include Jamie xx, Hudson Mohawke, Brodinski, Tiga, Jimmy Edgar, Ten Walls, Hannah Wants, Mr. Oizo, Alesia, T. Williams, Djemba Djemba and Mija.

HARD's commitment to hip-hop remains strong. Shoolboy Q, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, DJ Mustard, Makonnen, and Fetty Wap are all set to perform.
