NHL Prospect's Face Gets Rearranged in Two Periods

Ryan Olsen got into a fight and got hit in the face with a puck in two periods of play in the AHL last night. You can sort of tell, too.

This is a side-by-side comparison of two photos of the same person. It's not taken from the pages of Faces of Meth, though; this is a hockey player. Last night, Winnepeg Jets prospect Ryan Olsen got into a fight and got hit in the face with a puck. Two periods of play turned the face on the right into the face on the left. Olsen, playing for the St. John's IceCaps got into a fight in the first period with Philip Lane of the Portland Pirates and took a couple of very solid shots to the face, accounting for at least on of those black eyes.

Then, in the next period, he got hit in the face with a puck that most likely rearranged his nose and gave him that lovely gash under his eye.
