This Man Shoved a Great White Shark In The Face While Telling It to Fuck Off

Ever wondered what you would do if confronted by one of nature's wildest beasts? Would you flee, fight, or freeze?

Well, one Aussie fisherman came face to face with a great white shark and he did not back down when the shark chomped down on his fishing line.

In a video posted to Instagram, the fisherman, David Wilks, is seen tugging his fishing net as the shark holds on with its teeth.

"Fucking go," Wilks says, as the continues to pull at the line. Refusing to give up, the shark gets pulled upwards along the side of the boat as Wilks groans. He then literally shoves the shark back down into the water by pushing down on his nose.

The great white holds on and is brought back up once again before Wilks drops the line. At this point the shark apparently decides this is no longer worth the trouble and swims away.

"Fucking idiot, fuck off!" Wilks shouts after him.

The video was posted to Instagram by David's son Nicholas, who said the shark had been trying to eat fish caught in the net. Nicholas told Buzzfeed it was shot late last year but he only just decided to post it.

His original caption was "sharks are assholes and dad doesn't like them very much," but he's now edited it to say "dad loves sharks, it was all a good laugh, the shark was not hurt at all."
