When we last chatted to Brisbane punks Sewers they were about to release their second album Weight, and readying to head over to the US to play some shows. Both have since happened, and both were well received.Sewers have always struck me as a band that seems to layer different sounds and influences on top of one another in a haphazard, but ultimately interesting way. This extends to their latest video, which seems to sit somewhere between a punk clip and Videodrome. Weird but interesting, much like the total Sewers experience.Sewers' latest album 'Weight' is available via Homeless Records.
