What the iPod as Vinyl Looks Like

The 160GB iPod Classic, to be precise. Consider that the ubiquitous portable jukebox stores some 40,000 tunes. (For physical comparison, that's akin to a mature hamster--both tip the scales at around a third of a pound.) What would that amount of information look like if it were pressed as vinyl?

As it turns out, 3,180 records, or roughly 1,400 pounds. Think of it this way: That's the equivalent of two male grizzly bears. Suck on that, Grizzly Bear.
