Motherboard is a celebration of the diversity and eclecticism of the culture that surrounds technology. Rather than squinting at technology through the lens of gizmos and gadgetry, Motherboard explores the ways it influences and affects music, art, design, film, gaming, sports, issues surrounding the environment, and everything else we find important.

So consider the floor open for group participation. It's simple: Get involved in an existing discussion, post your own related videos, write posts, comment, anything… you're now part of the Motherboard.

The all-new BrandNewSchool.com presents an infinite, interactive set of shelves featuring sharable projects and inspirations, emphasizing the production/design company as a laboratory for creative and forward-looking thought and design. We also wanted to engage internal and external audiences in the site as an active, public, and evolving aspect of the company… not just a frame for the latest reels.

The new site was developed by NYC-based Linked by Air (http://linkedbyair.net), a firm that specializes in arts and cultural clientele. The innovative new site for Brand New School joins the Whitney Museum of American Art (http://www.whitney.org), the Yale University School of Art (http://art.yale.edu) and the Environmental Performance Index (http://epi.yale.edu) in Linked by Air’s prestigious portfolio.

“The practical side of me loves the Reels feature, which allows anyone to collect our work, build reels with different themes, and share them via email and other social media streams,” said Brand New School founder, executive creative director and director Jonathan Notaro. “The more playful side of me loves the ‘Bits,’ which allows us to put bits of inspiration or artwork we’ve made on the shelves for everyone to see. This feature is already inspiring us in new ways, and proving to be a very fun way to get to know more about our people.”

The site has also been nominated for a Favourite Website Award (FWA); to cast your vote, please visit http://www.thefwa.com/submissions/brandnewschool-com
