Ultra nerds at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands have developed a way to make human-robot communication easier. ROILA. or Robot Interaction Language, “is a spoken language for robots. It is constructed to make it easy for humans to learn, but also easy for the robots to understand. ROILA is optimized for the robots’ automatic speech recognition and understanding.”
So now instead of lamenting your lonely Saturday nights to your Roomba in English like a sucker, you can learn a little ROILA and never be lonely again.
