Dorkbot Austin, a hackerspace in the hometown of SXSW, held an event tonight and it was, well, electrifying. Featured were mind controlled gaming devices, iPod controlled vehicles, and more from Waterloo Labs, homemade electro music by Handmade Music Austin and Bodytronix, and Bre Pettis’s open-source hacktoys (see our Motherboard episode about his NYC Resistor).
Oh, and this awesome performance by ArcAttack featuring “singing Tesla coils.”!
