24,000 People Worked on This Music Video

Blending Chatroulette and Star Wars Uncut with the music video format, designers Jonathan Puckey and Roel Wouters are building an interactive video for the band C-mon & Kypski that lets users select frames, reshoot them, and upload the results in real time. Contribute to the video, which gets refreshed every hour, at http://oneframeoffame.com/ – and see an older version above.
That version is nine months old, about the same time that Chatroulette was a big thing. What happened? Did we get tired of watching thousands of people checking themselves out – and more – in front of their computers? In any case, now that everyone including the Grammys have been handed out, how could we use this crowdsourced video idea to build something useful?
