Motherboard is a celebration of the diversity and eclecticism of the culture that surrounds technology. Rather than squinting at technology through the lens of gizmos and gadgetry, Motherboard explores the ways it influences and affects music, art, design, film, gaming, sports, issues surrounding the environment, and everything else we find important.

So consider the floor open for group participation. It's simple: Get involved in an existing discussion, post your own related videos, write posts, comment, anything… you're now part of the Motherboard.

Twitter Sneakers + Keyboard Skateboard Tweet Every Step

We’re all looking for ways to increase our Twitter output, (or, and I should Tweet this coinage soon, our tweetput). We’re also looking for more reasons to get the hell up from our desks or lounge chairs and actually walk places. Forget those Marty McFly Nikes — we badly need these microblogging kicks. Developed by Ricardo Nascimento and Tiago Martins, the sneakers are, literally, tweeting every time you step.

Now if only I could get my feet on JODI’s keyboard skateboards, I’d be Ashton Kuch-tweeting my way to level 80 ninja status.
